Community flagging system

Ever look at someone’s uploaded match screenshot and think: “Yeah… that’s about as real as a Photoshopped six-pack”? We thought so. That’s why En Garde now has a Community Flagging System. It lets you call out suspicious uploads — but like any good superpower, it comes with responsibility.

Here’s how it works (and how not to nuke your Trust Score in the process).

🕹️ Where You Can Flag

  • Fortnite: Any manually uploaded match (screenshots).
  • Marvel Rivals: Only matches uploaded manually, not synced ones.

Basically, if it’s a screenshot that looks sketchier than Loki promising he’ll “behave,” you can flag it.

👀 What Everyone Sees

All uploaded match screenshots appear on the Activity Feed. If you think something looks off (like impossible stats, bad edits, or numbers that would make Thanos blush), tap that red flag.

⚖️ How Flagging Works

  • A match needs 3 flags before it gets escalated.
  • Once it hits 3, the match is sent to an En Garde admin for review.
  • The match stays visible until the admin makes a call.
  • If the admin agrees it’s fishy, the match gets rejected and removed from the leaderboard.
  • If the admin decides it’s fine, nothing happens — except maybe a few players feeling embarrassed for doubting someone’s epic skills.

🧮 Trust Score

Flagging isn’t a free-for-all. To keep things fair, every player has a Trust Score:

  • Everyone starts at 100.
  • If you flag a match and it doesn’t get 3 total flags by the end of the daily cycle (9 PM PST / 12 AM EST), your Trust Score drops by 5 points.
  • Yes, it’s per unsuccessful flag. So if you flag two matches that don’t hit the 3-flag mark, that’s -10. Ouch.
  • If your Trust Score dips below 75, you lose flagging privileges for 14 days. (Basically, a flagging timeout chair.)

🏆 Pro Tips for Smart Flagging

  1. Don’t spam flags. If you’re flagging every screenshot like a grumpy hall monitor, you’ll tank your Trust Score.
  2. Look for obvious red flags. (Pun intended.) Crazy-high stats, doctored screenshots, or numbers that defy reality.
  3. Remember the 3-flag rule. If you’re the only one hitting the red flag, maybe take a second look before committing.

⚡ TL;DR

  • You can flag manual uploads in Fortnite and Marvel Rivals.
  • Matches need 3 flags to get admin review.
  • Bad matches get rejected; good matches stay.
  • Unsuccessful flags = -5 Trust Score each. Drop below 75, and you can’t flag for 14 days.

So yes — flagging is powerful, but it’s not for spamming. Together, we’ll keep En Garde fair, fun, and just the right amount of petty.
